Marc J. Loew is a Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager with Bank of America Private Bank in Princeton, New Jersey. Marc works closely with high- and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families, helping them with a highly customized investment portfolio that reflects the vision and purpose they desire for their wealth, unique circumstances, tax minimization strategies and time horizons.
Over three decades, Marc has studied and managed different asset classes for institutions and individuals. In addition to asset management, he is experienced in investment strategy, analysis and portfolio construction. He believes one of his primary functions is to help you understand the investment strategies employed on your behalf. He strives to communicate with you in such a way as to cut through and filter the mainstream financial "noise" that might otherwise be confusing about what's taking place in the markets and the economy and their impact on your investments.
Marc is adept at working with multiple family members from different generations, each with their own objectives, income needs and appetite for risk. A strong believer in the value of financial education, Marc is happy to spend the time with you or any member of your family to enhance your financial knowledge and answer questions. He believes the more you understand about your portfolio and your finances, the more discerning you can be when making informed decisions about your financial future.
Marc joined Bank of America in 2010 from UBS where he held the role of Alternative Investments Strategist. Prior to that he was a Senior Portfolio Manager for Citigroup Asset Management. He earned his bachelor's degree in business from the University of Florida. Marc Loew is a CFA® charterholder and is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts. He is the Private Bank's New Jersey lead for ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) investing strategies.

Impact investing and/or Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) managers may take into consideration factors beyond traditional financial information to select securities, which could result in relative investment performance deviating from other strategies or broad market benchmarks, depending on whether such sectors or investments are in or out of favor in the market. Further, ESG strategies may rely on certain values based criteria to eliminate exposures found in similar strategies or broad market benchmarks, which could also result in relative investment performance deviating.
