Stratford Kiger is a Senior Vice President who serves as a Private Client Advisor & Institutional Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Charlotte, North Carolina. She began her career in financial services in 1990 as a traditional branch banker, joining a predecessor of Bank of America in 1994, where she spent 13 years in leadership roles within investment, marketing, and technology groups supporting various lines of business and enterprise initiatives. After her children were born, she left Bank of America to enter private practice as an attorney focused on planning and litigation related to trusts, estates, elder law, businesses, special needs, guardianship, and fiduciary services.

In 2019, Stratford returned to Bank of America to utilize her skills and those of the Private Bank team to assist high-net-worth families, business owners, endowments, and foundations as they build, preserve, and distribute their wealth. She recognizes that balance sheet management is critical and complicated and enjoys working with her team to put the right strategies in place for her clients. Stratford works with a team of Private Bank specialists who collaborate to identify and customize techniques involving tax management, cash flow planning, credit and banking services, investment management, and fiduciary services. Together, they leverage the depth and breadth of Bank of America's products and services to help meet the client's needs.

Stratford earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Salem College in Winston-Salem, her Master of Business Administration - Commercial Banking / Finance from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and her Juris Doctorate from the Charlotte School of Law. She is licensed as an attorney in North Carolina and South Carolina. She is certified as a Specialist in Elder Law (CELA) by the North Carolina State Bar and the National Elder Law Foundation. She hold the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER certification and the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) designation. Stratford is a member of the Estate Planning and Elder Law sections of both NC and SC State Bars and the Charlotte Estate Planning Council.

Stratford enjoys training for triathlons, traveling with her family, and supporting community initiatives focused on environmental conservation, healthcare, affordable housing, economic mobility, and financial literacy. She serves on the boards of Salem Academy and College, the Charlotte chapter of the Financial Planning Association, the US National Whitewater Center, Charlotte Junior Soccer, and the 24 Foundation. She is a member of the Women's Impact Fund and Women Executives/WINGS.
