Tnyetta Mitchell is a Managing Director and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in New York, New York. Tnyetta delivers strategic advice and guidance to clients across multiple aspects of wealth management, offering the knowledge and insight she has gained from more than 30 years with the firm. She has experience guiding a highly accomplished clientele, including senior executives, entrepreneurs, multigenerational families, athletes, entertainers, and charitable institutions. A veteran relationship manager, Tnyetta selects and leads a team of deeply credentialed specialists who work together to address multiple client priorities. She orchestrates effective collaboration across the members of the Private Bank, as well as with a client’s external tax and legal advisors. An engaged listener, Tnyetta strives to make clients’ lives easier by anticipating key junctures in their wealth, allowing them to make poised and informed decisions. She is adept in addressing clients’ custom credit needs, directing large-scale transactions that require end-to-end oversight and precise execution.
Tnyetta joined Bank of America in 1993 and has taken on successive leadership roles. She spent the first few years of her career as a Financial Center Manager and the Regional Administrator for 350 financial centers in New York. Since 2005, Tnyetta has held client-facing roles within Bank of America Private Bank, focusing on the needs of ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutions. She earned her B.A. from Wesleyan University, a Post-Baccalaureate business certificate from Columbia University, and an M.B.A. in Finance from Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University.
Tnyetta serves on the Randall’s Island Park Alliance Board of Trustees as a New York City Mayoral appointee. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and serves as Finance Class Representative for the Chapin School Alumnae Association. Tnyetta also mentors recent graduates through Wesleyan’s Cardinals Helping Cardinals program. Previously, she served on the Board of Trustees for the Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Care and Prevention, now a part of Memorial Sloan Kettering.
Married with two daughters, Tnyetta teaches praise dance for her church in her free time.
