Brant McGettrick is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank with teams in both Providence, Rhode Island and Boston, Massachusetts. Working primarily with clients who create their own wealth, Brant serves business owners and entrepreneurs with multiple ventures, senior corporate executives, partners at private equity firms, and generations of families.
At the heart of Brant’s approach is his desire to identify potential efficiencies in clients’ family and business wealth. Asking questions, he wants to know clients’ greatest concerns and areas in their financial picture they consciously or unconsciously may ignore. Many clients need to optimize and leverage their time, especially when facing pivotal events such as the sale of a business, retirement, a promotion, or inheritance.
To support clients, he directs a team of specialists in crafting and delivering an integrated plan that may include investment and distribution strategies, trust and estate planning services, business transition planning, and customized credit and lending.
Brant’s wealth management career began in 1994. Before joining Bank of America Private Bank, he was a vice president at BNY Mellon, advising clients on a wide scope of financial services. Brant also worked for Wells Fargo, North American Management Corp. and Argent Wealth Management – providing wealth strategy and services to high-net-worth clients. Brant holds a B.A. degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts Sloan School of Business and a M.S. degree in taxation from Northeastern University.
Brant is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, and Boston Estate Planning Council. He is also very active in the family business community and has served on the board of the Family Business Association of Massachusetts. Brant resides South of Boston with his wife and four daughters.
