Patricia Shannon is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Charleston, South Carolina. Passionate about understanding each client’s unique story, Tricia spends considerable time asking questions to help uncover and address potential gaps in their wealth management strategies. Taking an integrated view of all of their resources, she tailors her approach to match her clients’ multi-faceted financial priorities.
To aid her in addressing clients’ often-dynamic situations, Tricia draws not only on her own knowledge, but on a dedicated team of specialists with deep experience in wealth structuring, investment management, credit and lending solutions, asset management, trust and estate planning services, and philanthropic opportunities.
Tricia began her financial services career at Bank of America in 1975 as a commercial loan officer in Los Angeles, working with small community businesses and middle-market companies. She later transitioned to the bank’s training department where she was responsible for recruiting and developing new commercial lending relationships. Previously, she worked in the professional and personal banking group, supporting the wealth management and banking needs of individual clients. She joined the Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 1985. Tricia earned her bachelor’s degree from California State University, Los Angeles.
Active in the local Charleston community, Tricia volunteers with Lowcountry Food Bank, One80 Place, and Habitat for Humanity. In her spare time, she enjoys playing golf.
